“Don’t become your mother,” the trailer warns. The daughter of Amanda enlists to get rid of her spirit through seances, but as she learns more about her mother’s past, she begins to question everything else she has been told.

Morbius

“House of Gucci” stars Jared Leto in the spine-chilling story from Marvel. Biochemist Michael Morbius turns himself into a living vampire trying to cure himself from a rare blood disorder. The official trailer description reads, “The line between hero and villain is crossed.”

The release of Morbius was delayed three months by Sony. They did not offer an official reason for the delay, but it is believed that COVID-19 is responsible for the delay.

As a girl gets kidnapped by a mythical creature called Old Maid Maria, events take a turn for the worse and she faces being eaten. You Won’t be Alone is set in 1800s Macedonia and follows 3 children who follow the trail of the evil Old Maid Maria to save the protagonist.

Nevena becomes a witch after Old Maid Maria casts a spell that changes her shape. Nevena quickly learns that her new powers allow her to take on the identity of dead people.

Choose or Die

Surprisingly, Netflix will be releasing a horror movie. This movie is about Kayla, a woman fired from her job. She finds an old video game–that surprisingly comes with cash prizes–the plot thickens when she realizes that this challenge was set up for the last person to finish the video game.

Play begins by choosing land. Promising to take care of the land and its occupants, Kayla starts building a civilization but then has to flee after being chased by monsters. There is no going back, but she wonders about this peculiar game she and her friend are playing.
