AEW Undisputed World Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs Interim Champion Jon Moxley
The story of CM Punk and Jon Moxley goes back to 2002 when both were working for the World Wrestling Federation. Punk was an apprentice trainer and Moxley was working as a referee.
Punk and Moxley had a lot in common, including their passion for wrestling and their desire to make a difference in the industry.
They also had a lot of competition between them; Moxley wanted to be the best referee in the business,
while Punk wanted to be the best wrestler in the business.
In 2004, Punk took his wrestling skills to the independent circuit, while Moxley remained with the WWF.
However, in 2006, Moxley left the WWF and started working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA),
where he became close friends with Punk.
In 2007, Punk made his return to WWE and challenged then-WWE Champion John Cena for his title. Cena won the match, but Punk became a fan favorite because of his no-nonsense attitude and work ethic.
In late 2009, Punk left WWE again to pursue a career in MMA. This led to a feud with UFC fighter Mike Brown (aka “The Ultimate Fighter” winner), which culminated in a championship.
CM Punk is set to defend his Interim Championship against Jon Moxley at AEW’s Undisputed World Championship Match on
November 3rd. The two have been involved in a heated rivalry over the past few months, culminating in Punk attacking Moxley during an episode of NXT. This match will be crucial for both men as it could determine who takes over as the number one contender for the WWE Championship.
Match Prediction: Cm Punks Easily manages to defeat Jon Moxley
