Last night’s show in Cleveland, OH, is set to be historic with one of the most important main events, matches in the history of AEW.
CM Punk will make his first in-ring appearance since returning from injury
and he will compete against Jon Moxley (AEW World Champion) in a major unification match to determine who the true champion is.
Last Night, Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia will face off in a wrestling match to settle their differences from last week.
After the two-out-of-three fall match with ex-Ring of Honor champion Bryan Danielson, tensions started to rise between Jericho and Garcia as they seek to know which side the ‘Dragon Slayer’ is really on.

At the end of “AEW Dynamite,” Chris Jericho persuades Daniel Garcia to apologize and he thinks they can,
work this out quickly. Garcia gets emotional as he recalls his moment with Bryan Danielson, who is dubbed “Dynamite” by fans.
The younger wrestler has had a mix of feeling guilty, happy and ashamed all at once after the match was suggested by Jericho.
Many agree it is a classic match and that Garcia managed to stay in the ring for 30 minutes against his hero.
Before Garcia gets a chance to argue Jericho’s point, Danielson himself comes to the ring and says that he can see Garcia’s mentor is trying to bully him. He respects them wrestling last week, and he agrees with the people, and Garcia says he can’t make a decision right here and he tells Jericho to leave him alone. Chris then pulls Garcia as he tries to leave, and that leads to Garcia shoving him to the floor as he then leaves.
Jay Lethal vs Dax Harwood
Dax Harwood starts the sequence by kicking off the Chop Beatdown early, then Jay Lethal takes over with foot stomps before Dax throws Jay’s face into the ground. Lethal catches up in experience and makes Dax fall straight down to his back in seconds, instantly forcing a limit break from Dax.
In the end, Lethal pulls Harwood’s arm down and throws him face-first to the mat. But, Jay recovers and is able to apply a German Suplex on Lethal before following it up with several slaps in retaliation.

Colten Gunn vs Billy Gunn
When the match starts, Billy Gunn dominates with his strength and he sends his son out of the ring only to hit the turnbuckles as he begins scissoring Anthony Bowens. From there, Billy heads to the outside and starts beating on Colten’s taped-up shoulder, before attacking from behind with his vignettes.

Dr Britt Baker D.M.D vs. KiLynn King
Britt Baker comes out of the gate fast with a body blow, then she follows it up with a knee to the stomach. KiLynn King maneuvers out of harm’s way and strikes back with a kick to the stomach that doesn’t connect. She tries to charge into the corner, but Britt Baker stops her momentum and drops her opponent across her knee before pulling him into the steel post with both arms.

Jon Moxley vs CM Punk (AEW World Championship Match)
The two men start out with a lock-up, but Jon Moxley quickly starts firing in shots only for CM Punk to respond by slapping him as he then fires knees into his opponent in the corner. Moxley connects with a head butt and Punk responds with a roundhouse kick however, he immediately goes down and starts selling his foot injury while the doctor appears but Punk walks into a King Kong Leg Drop. Then, the classic elbows to the head that he’s known for.

United Empire vs Death Triangle
Will Ospreay and Rey Fenix begin by showcasing how fast and agile they are one with the other.
before being off quickly by Ospreay. As Fenix is down, all six men come in and bounce off of each other, before they stare down to throw hands as well. Fenix proceeds with a double cutter on Aussie Open dropping him to the mat outside of the ring, while Ospreay follows up with a major double back body drop taking Death Triangle down with him.
