This will be CM Punk’s first appearance since he defeated MJF at the Dog Collar match at AEW revolution earlier this month. Punk’s next appearance at AEW Revolution is unknown yet.
CM Punk has been shooting for the second season of “Heels” for Starz, reprising his role as a heel wrestler named Ricky Rabies. Punk has been reported absent from AEW TV over the past few weeks due to this, though it was never confirmed.
CM Punk posted a photo of his Rabies gear to Twitter and stated that he was filming the pro-wrestling drama. Punk also stated that he would be attending AEW Dynamite. In a separate tweet, the company confirmed his appearance.
