Four of the top five wrestlers in the men’s rankings had no movement. Orange Cassidy, who was at number four, dropped to number five after losing to champion Wardlow in a TNT match. Eddie Kingston took over at the #4 spot in the rankings. Kingston is undefeated in singles action from 2022. Highlights of his résumé include victories over Joey Janela, Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, and Konosuke Takeshita among others. The man can cement himself into championship contention with a victory over Jericho, also part of Dynamite on Saturday night.
Serena Deeb passed Nyla Rose into #4. The Native Beast did not compete in singles action for the week, while the Professor won against Anna Jay and Viva Van. The rest of the top 5 remained the same.
Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland won gold for the Young Bucks in an intense three-way tag team match with Ricky Starks and Will Hobbs. FTR still has a stranglehold on the top spot. The Bucks dropped to number 2, and Team Taz fell one spot to number 3. One Dark Order duo was replaced by another at number 4. 10 & Evil Uno took the spot of Alex Reynolds & John Silver. Varsity Blonds grabbed #5 from Private Party. Reynolds & Silver lost to the House of Black (Los Luchadores) while Private Party met defeat at the hands of Rey Mysterio Jr.
