Injury report on Bryan Danielson
Khan said that the hurt Danielson got at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door was worse than they first thought. No one knows when he will come back, but he wants to come back as soon as possible. Since Danielson got hurt, he hasn’t been to shows or talks, but Khan has talked to him a lot about ideas and thoughts.

DBD problems
Khan said that putting together Friday’s show was just as hard as putting together last year’s Forbidden Door PPV. He said this because people were complaining online about how late the Death Before Dishonour card was revealed.
He talked about what went wrong with the main event, like how he gave Eddie Kingston permission to go to Japan for the annual NJPW G1 tournament, which he thought would be good for Kingston and put him in a much better position when he gets back.
He hinted that the original plan was for Kingston and ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli, but they had to switch to Mark Briscoe because of injuries to other people who were supposed to do something else on the PPV. He thought that if Kingston and Briscoe had a moment together, it would make Briscoe’s challenge for the ROH title more emotional.
But Briscoe’s injuries were much worse than he said, and even AEW doctors were surprised to find out about them. Khan said that he would help Briscoe with anything he needed, and when Briscoe said that his injuries were making his life less enjoyable, something had to be done. They did a lot of pre-recorded promos to get people excited about the fight.
