AEW rolled into the Little Caesars Arena Arena in Detroit, Michigan, where they taped yesterday’s (June 30) episode of Dynamite and tomorrow night’s (July 1) episode of Rampage.
“AEW” has advertised three matches for the card on Friday night. The spoilers from F4WOnline and Wrestling Observer Radio showed that the results were as expected.
Brody King defeated 20-man Battle Royal winner Jon Moxley to earn the future Interim Title match. As a result, and after about 26 minutes of action, Brody eliminated Darby Allin to win the match and earn his future title match against Jon Moxley. Other participants included RUSH, Takeshita, Penta, Swerve, Orange Cassidy (falsely eliminated by Swerve), Kazarian, Hangman Page, Tony Nese, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks (replaced by John Silver), Butcher (falsely eliminated by Max Caster), Matt Hardy, Keith Lee, Dustin Rhodes and Dante Martin.
The Young Bucks defeat Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi with the Meltzer Driver.
Toni Storm beat Nyla Rose. Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose attacked Toni during the match. Thunder Rosa ran out for the save.
