Johnny Gargano thanked the fans by tweeting an exclusive tweet for his fans who watched tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
During tonight’s broadcast, viewers in Cleveland sang “Johnny Wrestling” several times throughout the show, probably because the fans were convinced that he’d appear on the show as it’s his hometown.
Gargano did not appear present on the show, but he did take the time to express his gratitude to everyone for their love and support. In addition, Gargano posted the following message on Twitter:
“I heard you and you have no idea how much it means to me that you’re excited to see me back at it. It’s scary to step away because your insecurities say ‘they’ll forget about you’. but you haven’t forgotten and I promise that I will make it up to you asap. #JohnnyWrestling”

Gargano was a free agent in March and has stated that he wants some time off before going back into the boxing ring. According to reports, Gargano is contemplating leaving WWE, and moving to AEW isn’t possible.
Moreover, another big news for fans that, he and his partner Candice LeRae is set to give birth in February. So we could not be seeing Gargano at the very least for a few weeks at most, a couple of months.
