Are we on the brink of an Alexa Bliss – Bray Wyatt reunion? Hard to say, but it’s definitely a possibility with today’s news.
After being announced as the fifth member of Team Bianca, Becky Lynch had her first match on the 11/28 episode of “WWERaw” with fellow Superstar who will be a part-time wrestler, Becky Lynch. A WWE fan favorite and deserving superstar at this point, Bliss appeared less than enthused during an interview backstage.
Nervous laughter and stuttering followed the announcement of Bliss’ “strange response.”
At the same time, a Wyatt logo briefly flashed behind Bliss, which seemed to hint at her potential reunion with Wyatt and the ending of her journey.
It’s important to note, however, that this isn’t the first time WWE teased a reunion between Rollins and Wolfe. During the Crown Jewel event earlier this month, the Wyatt moth logo appeared on the screen seconds before Asuka & Bliss lost their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Dakota Kai & IYO SKY. The image was surprising for Bliss who knew about Big Show being her ex-husband but not about her past relationship with Wolfe. It was also mentioned on commentary by Michael Cole.
A simple logo led to Wyatt’s return. As part of “The white rabbit” branding, the symbol showed up on a WWE live event and brought in Paige, who was an occasional part of the faction formerly known as Absolution.
Many fans on social media believe that the teases do not necessarily mean a reunion between Bliss and Wyatt, with some predicting that there’s potential for Wyatt to exact revenge on her once they’re reunited. There are signs, however, pointing to WWE getting Bliss involved in the Wyatt storyline in the near future. This past week, Uncle Howdy was confronted by Wyatt on “WWE SmackDown,” who was calling him a liar for denying involvement of any role he’s had since returning. Although the company has yet to confirm or deny this alleged new match against LA Knight, based off of their previous hints it appears as if this will be his first match back on TV.
