The American Dragon has now revealed that what he initially believed to be a fractured forearm sustained by Bryan Danielson during the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV is significantly worse than we first heard.
Because AEW encourages its wrestlers to push the limits of what is safe to perform in the ring, accidents happen quite frequently in the organization.
But accidents do happen, as Bryan Danielson suffered what was thought to be a shattered forearm at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door last month.
Though it started to seem less realistic, the expectation was that he would return in time for London’s All In PPV at Wembley Stadium.

The first update came from Brie Bella, a former WWE Superstar and Danielson’s wife, who said the injuries might be worse than initially believed.
The American Dragon has now acknowledged that he underwent surgery a few weeks ago, during which a steel rod and nine screws were placed in his arm.
Although it seems to have gone well, there is no longer a set timetable for his return.
“I got surgery on my arm about two weeks ago, where they put in a steel rod and 9 screws. “Surgery went well and I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you all for the support.”
Also, to give everyone an update before #AEWDynamite, I got surgery on my arm about two weeks ago, where they put in a steel rod and 9 screws. Surgery went well and I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you all for the support, and check out #BloodAndGuts tonight! pic.twitter.com/6lKHsZk65f

Danielson would have been a significant draw for the UK performance, so it’s unfortunate that he won’t be there.
Naturally, based on what we’ve heard so far, the company hasn’t had any trouble selling tickets, and we’re confident it will be another extended event with a stacked card.

We obviously wish Danielson a quick recovery since the earlier he can return to the ring, the better!
