Adam Page, better known as Hangman Page, signed with the new All Elite Wrestling in 2019 to debut as the company’s first-ever World Champion.
Adam Page began his professional wrestling career in 2008 on the independent circuit, and he has since worked for Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). In 2016, Page joined Bullet Club along with other members of the stable. They won ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship in 2018. Pages also started a promotion called All Elite Wrestling with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. After leaving ROH, Page ventured into an AEW match at a tournament to decide the first AEW World Champion; he lost when Chris Jericho won against Chris Benoit in the finals.
