FAULKNER, MD — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a missing 16-year-old girl from Charles County who may have traveled to Baltimore, Knoxville, or Washington, DC.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children reports that Summer Marie Harbison was last seen on March 1, 2025, in Faulkner, Maryland. Law enforcement authorities and advocacy groups are asking citizens in the area to be watchful and report any sightings.

Harbison, a 16-year-old female, is identified by her pierced nose and lip, as well as tattoos on her right forearm, ankle, and left hand. She may also wear spectacles.

Investigators have not revealed the circumstances behind her disappearance, but they believe she may still be in the neighborhood or have traveled to adjacent towns. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the search, and anybody with information is asked to phone 1-301-932-2222.

Harbison’s case has been recorded into the National Crime Information Center under the NCIC number M288312871. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has also issued a notice, inviting people to come forward with any information.
