As one of the best punchers in bare-knuckle boxing, Mighty Mike Perry has generously volunteered for the Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz boxing match, scheduled for Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
“I should be the backup fighter in case Jake Paul doesn’t show up to fight Nate Diaz,” Perry wrote on Twitter.
There is a legitimate chance that Paul’s opponent won’t make it to fight night because Texas has a zero-tolerance policy on marijuana and Diaz smokes like a coal mine.
After losing two straight and four of his last five fights in the UFC, Perry has won three straight for BKFC, including last month’s demolition of ex-UFC middleweight Luke Rockhold.
