WWE used Instagram to ask their fans who they thought should join Judgment Day, and Batista picked an AEW star. While he knows that it isn’t possible right now, the Animal made it clear that he would like to see CM Punk join the group.
CM Punk is under contract with AEW and won’t be appearing in Judgment Day. Batista is a friend outside of the ring, as they are both well known.
Punk will instead be focused on becoming the AEW World Champion against Hangman Page at Double Or Nothing, the first time Punk has challenged for a world championship since undergoing his return to wrestling.
Judgment Day began in Edge and Damian Priest’s professional wrestling career but was formed after WWE WrestleMania 38. Rhea Ripley was then added to the mix after WWE WrestleMania Backlash, and since then they have teased adding a fourth member. Edge made clear that he is not done before the new fourth member – which will be dubbed The Spear of Justice – could be announced.
The former NXT 2.0 superstar Harland was recently released by the company. With rumors of both Ciampa and T-Bar joining the group, it seems likely that Finn Balor will be joining too.
As for right now, Judgment Day is still continuing their feud with AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One has since added Balor, and more recently Liv Morgan to his ranks to level things up. It is currently unknown if they will be competing against each other at WWE Hell In A Cell.
