Bayley has made it clear how she feels about Ronda Rousey in the wake of rumors that she is leaving WWE.
At SummerSlam, Rousey fought what is thought to be her last match. She lost to Shayna Baszler in the MMA Rules match. Rousey didn’t show up on the next Raw, and Baszler is very proud of the idea that she got Rousey kicked out of WWE. SummerSlam was much better for Bayley, whose Damage CTRL partner IYO SKY cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to become WWE Women’s Champion.
Bayley Gives an Answer
Rousey has always had a strange relationship with wrestling and its fans. When WWE tried to make her look like a good guy, the fans turned them down. Rousey ripped apart WWE’s Women’s Tag Team division earlier this year, calling it “dismally shallow” and saying that no one cares about it. Bayley told Rousey that she should be the change she wants to see in response to what Rousey said on Inside the Ropes.
“If she wants more then Ronda should do more. I’m tired of her saying she wants more, come out here and do it. Let me see. Do I see Ronda Rousey out here doing interviews? No, I see Shayna Baszler. I don’t see Ronda Rousey. I’m here, I have a match at Money in the Bank. I’m gonna climb a freakin’ ladder, you know? Where is she?”

WWE’s Tag Division for Women
In 2019, WWE started its Women’s Tag Team division, but things haven’t been easy since then. Numerous championship streaks have come to an abrupt end either to an injury or, as was the case with Sasha Banks and Naomi last year, a suspension. WWE had thought that Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green’s recent win would turn things around, but Deville’s torn ACL means that won’t happen.
