WWE today announced the first match at the Elimination Chamber next month. Bobby Lashley will be taking on five other wrestlers inside the structure to win the WWE Title.
WWE did not announce the other competitors in the match. However, the company has confirmed that Lashley will host a championship celebration segment Monday Night Raw, so his opponents can be revealed as soon as tonight.
After Paul Heyman, who was defending his client, turned on Lesnar and gave Roman Reigns the title to him to beat Lesnar, Lashley defeated Brock Lesnar in a dream bout at Saturday’s Royal Rumble. Lesnar won the Men’s Royal Rumble match, making it Lesnar vs. Reigns on Wrestlemania 38.
It’s not clear if Reigns will defend his Universal Title in the Elimination Chamber on February 19, as it is at this point.
