Booker T has weighed in on Stephanie McMahon’s recent decision to take time off from WWE and earned the leave of absence with her. Stephanie leaves her position as the Chief Brand Officer to focus on her family but is speculated to be replaced by Nick Khan until someone else is found. In a recent episode of his “Hall Of Fame” podcast, Triple H weighed in on sources he has read that claim that Nick is going to take over for Stephanie on a temporary basis. This may or may not happen, Triple H says.
As of tomorrow, I am taking a leave of absence from the majority of my responsibilities at WWE. WWE is a lifelong legacy for me and I look forward to returning to the company that I love after taking this time to focus on my family.

Nobody knows why Stephanie McMahon stepped away from her position with WWE, but it’s believed that it is a personal and private situation. Triple H dealt with some serious health complications last year, which led to his eventual retirement from in-ring competition.

Booker thinks it’s possible that he would have left years ago if he were in her position.
“It just seems like people want to find something controversial to be able to talk about … Her taking time off means nothing other than she’s taking time off. Shane McMahon has taken time off several times, he’s always come back,” Booker pointed out. “He’s taken more time off. I don’t look at it like most because everybody’s looking for a story. And me, like you said, Stephanie has been in the trenches for a long time. To take a break, I think is a break well needed.”
