The Extreme Rules event took place on October 8, and there was a lot to see. Fans are still on the edge of their seats for the return of Bray Wyatt, who took center stage in his stunning comeback. Now it’s one question on everyone’s mind – what faction is he launching?
Some fans have suggested that Wyatt 6 might represent a new faction within WWE, now that reports have surfaced about Colin Delaney being the first member of the group. Delaney has most recently been seen working for AEW but he could also feature in WWE moving forward.
The list of notable names who have been linked to Wyatt’s new faction includes his brother Bo Dallas, former champion Liv Morgan, and Colin Delaney. Colin made his first appearance in WWE as part of the ECW brand in 2007 during a stint that saw him lose to Shelton Benjamin before getting steamrolled by Big Daddy V a few weeks later.
Colin Delaney was used as an enhancement talent for WWE until 2008. He was released due to budget cuts and almost a decade later, he appeared on SmackDown again in 2018. The Bludgeon Brothers beat him up and there were no winners.
Broadly, there are currently five members of Wyatt’s team that are unidentified, so it will be interesting to watch who he may eventually portray on WWE TV.
A major question for the WWE was how everyone would react to Bray Wyatt’s return. It was a big shock to see many of his characters being brought to life again in the arena, and we’ll be curious to see who joins him on Team Red.
As fans eagerly await the return of Wyatt, his debut on the WWE stage is very much anticipated. After months of teasing, the former WWE champion made his first appearance on a WWE stage in more than a year during the Extreme Rules event closed by JJ Dillon in Philadelphia.
