As of now, everything about this year’s Great American Bash card has been announced.
There are three PPVs on the NXT calendar: Halloween Havoc, WarGames, and Great American Bash, and the last one is coming up soon. If revived WCW PPVs are your thing, check out NXT. The biggest show of the summer will take place on July 30 this year. Below are all of the details so far announced for the premium live event.
NXT’s Great American Bash takes place on a Sunday, unlike WWE’s main roster PLEs. The main card starts at 8 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, July 30, with a kickoff show probably running for an hour before it begins. In the US, you can watch the match on Peacock, while everyone else must tune into WWE Network or whatever service carries the Network in your country.
For the NXT Championship, Carmelo Hayes will face Ilja Dragunov
Dragunov will compete for the championship in a singles match for the first time at Great American Bash, meaning Bron Breakker’s time in NXT is over.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hayes loses to Dragunov and leaves the WWE as well. He is clearly talented and clearly well-liked by higher-ups in the company.
The NXT North American Championship will be contested between Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali
A match between Mustafa Ali and Wes Lee for the North American Title has always been inevitable, and it finally happens at Great American Bash. It’s going to be a very athletic match that might well steal the show if both Superstars are at their peak.
Lee still has to defend his title against Dominik Mysterio. I think Lee loses to Ali on July 30 if he wins. However, I can really see Mysterio pulling off an upset before then.
