A former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has revealed a quite unexpected request he made to his promotional president Dana White ahead of his formal bow. This included the shipment of a large Octagon for him to practice in.
Lesnar was a professional boxer who concluded his mixed martial arts professional career with an impressive 5-3(1) record. He was most recently , he was featured in a main-card fight against fellow promotional alumnus Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July of 2016.
The former champion was first secured a lopsided victory in a unanimous decision over Hunt until the fight was later reverted to an official ‘No Contest’ following Lesnar was found to be in violation of a post-fight drugs test conducted by the anti-doping organization USADA after being found to be positive for banned substance, clomiphene , in the test specimen taken during competition. Lesnar received a fine of $250,000 for the violation and was issued an immediate suspension of one year from competitive competition for one year.
