Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton locked horns with each other for the first time in 2002. The then WWE Undisputed Champion, Brock Lesnar, made smooth work of an up-and-coming Randy Orton.
The duo crossed paths over again at SummerSlam 2016. While the build, the hype, the storyline, the whole was there, the dream match didn’t live as much as the expectancies of fans.
The finishing had The Beast busting Orton open with repeated elbow strikes to his forehead to choose up a win via TKO. The end left the WWE Universe with a bitter flavour in its mouth. On top of that, it even caused Chris Jericho to confront Lesnar backstage.
Following that, The Beast went directly to defeat Orton once again in a rematch on September 24, 2016, at a live event.
Truth be told, WWE ought to have completed much higher jobs with those superstars. Given the end of the feud, the company has to run it back to give a fitting finish to one of the most talked-about feuds of all time.
