Sunday’s pay-per-view, Double or Nothing resulted in many jokes and memes. Jericho is not mad about it and welcomes the good-natured ribbing.
Jericho is rumored to be appearing bald-headed on AEW TV.
Basically, Jericho was pissed about people cutting his hair. In response to the snip, Jericho accepted a match with some snips–but said he would only fight if Jon doesn’t cut his hair and then challenged him to a Hair-Tussle. It’s like they’re just trying to cut their hair to dictate my life.
“In order for you to get Blood & Guts, I want something too,” Jericho told Ortiz. “You wanna cut my hair, Ortiz? I’m gonna shave your stupid head bald! You want Blood & Guts? I want Jericho vs. Ortiz, Hair vs. Hair. I’m gonna beat you, I’m gonna shave you, and I’m gonna burn you. Why? Because I’m a wizard.”
The Hair vs. Hair match was confirmed for the Dynamite: Road Rager special on June 15 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Earlier, (it was reported) that the match would precede the special “Dynamite” episode on June 29 in Detroit. If you happen to watch, it will come at about 9:00 pm ET/PT. The match will be unusual as it will feature a bald Y2J.
Mike Ortiz posted a photo of his prize, Jericho’s hairball on Twitter after the show.
Jericho replied to some fans who photoshopped his head into a bald man. He then remarked that he may be getting ready for the inevitable. One thing is clear, Jericho doesn’t love consistency.
