Unexpectedly, a top AEW star has said that they might use their old WWE theme song.
Several former WWE stars have joined AEW over the years, and while they usually change their look and theme music, one fighter might be bringing back a familiar tune.
CM Punk hinted earlier today on his Instagram stories that he might use “This Fire Burns” by Killswitch Engage as his old WWE theme song. This song was always associated with Punk during his first five years in WWE, before he famously switched to “Cult of Personality,” which has become an iconic part of his image.
Fans are very excited about Punk’s possible use of “This Fire Burns.” They want to know if it will be a one-time thing or if it will be a permanent change. The tease also made people even more excited for his upcoming match on August 5’s AEW Collision. He will defend his “Real” World Championship of AEW against Ricky Starks, and the famous Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be the special guest referee.

As AEW continues to give athletes a chance to show off their skills and connect with the audience in new ways, the idea that Punk’s old theme song might be played again has added a touch of nostalgia and excitement to the upcoming event.
