In the enigmatic world of professional wrestling, one name has been on everyone’s lips recently: CM Punk. The former WWE and AEW superstar, whose real name is Phil Brooks, has left fans in a state of suspense ever since his sudden departure from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in September. The burning question on the minds of wrestling aficionados worldwide is, will CM Punk make a surprise appearance at WWE Survivor Series in his hometown, Chicago, on November 26?
As the anticipation mounts, fans are left to wonder where the “Best in the World” might resurface next, or if he’ll resurface at all. During an intriguing appearance on the Bernstein & Holmes sports radio show in Chicago just recently, on October 26, Punk was directly questioned about his potential involvement in WWE’s marquee event.
When asked by the hosts if he would be at WWE Survivor Series, Punk responded with a sly grin, “They are asking if I am going to be there? I think it is sold out. I think tickets are hard to get.” His response, while tantalizing, left plenty of room for speculation.
The hosts didn’t stop there, inquiring if it’s possible that Punk might step into the ring at Survivor Series. With a hint of mystery in his voice, he replied, “I don’t want to burst anybody’s bubble. I am kind of just sitting at home right now enjoying this beautiful Chicago weather. I have an injury in the family, my dog blew his little dog ACL.”

Yes, you read that right. The man who has battled giants in the squared circle was now tending to a four-legged friend’s blown ACL. “So, I am literally just spending my time with him. And I know that sounds a little crazy, but he is my son, and I take care of him and treat him as such. So, everything has kind of stopped,” he added.
Punk continued to shed light on his absence, “I am fortunate to be able to just take time off from everything. I have canceled a couple of things I have coming up. Traveling is just, it is hard trying to leave him here with my wife April. So, if there is two of us here taking care of him, it seems to be easier.”
Despite his domestic responsibilities, Punk did leave his home recently to attend Impact Wrestling’s TV tapings in Chicago. Impact Wrestling has been inching closer to the former WWE Champion, even enlisting his best friend Ace Steel as a backstage producer. Punk’s previous presence at a Chicago Impact event back in April had also stirred the rumor mill.
So, while the enigmatic wrestling superstar might not have confirmed his Survivor Series plans, his recent presence at an Impact event has certainly left fans speculating about what the future holds for the “Straight Edge Savior.”
Whether CM Punk will make a shocking return to WWE at Survivor Series remains a mystery. Perhaps, like the wrestling world itself, the “Second City Saint” enjoys keeping us guessing, leaving us to ponder the possibilities, and reminding us that in the world of professional wrestling, anything is possible. Wrestling fans will surely be on the edge of their seats until November 26 to see if this hometown hero makes an unforgettable appearance.
