In the main event, Cody Rhodes returned to a rematch from Wrestlemania 38 against Seth Rollins. This time, he managed to pin him by rolling up his tights.
It was a match that exceeded expectations and managed to be more complex than the first. This resulted in some of the best play that we’ve seen from either competitor to date.
Seth Rollins even wins the battle of offense, with his best efforts failing to take down the WWE Champion. This continues Cody Rhodes’ undefeated run, as The American Nightmare continues to go unpunished.
