WWE RAW Superstar Cody Rhodes is at this week’s post-Wrestlemania 38 edition of SmackDown. Although it’s not clear if Rhodes will appear on the SmackDown broadcast or work a dark match on the show, PWInsider reports that he is expected to be there.
It is quite interesting to see that WWE does not yet have Rhodes assigned to RAW or SmackDown on their official roster page.
Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins Saturday at Wrestlemania. Then, he appeared on RAW this week and gave an emotional promo about how he returned to WWE to pursue and win the WWE Title. This was in honor of his father, Dusty Rhodes, who is a WWE Hall of Famer.
Rhodes’ feuding with Rollins is over. Rhodes was interrupted by RAW and Rhodes shook hands. The Visionary then welcomed back The American Nightmare. Rollins was advertised by WWE for Friday’s SmackDown, but he was later removed from the website listing.
WWE teases that Roman Reigns will be the first challenger to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns on Friday’s show.
As of late, WWE has been sending talent from one brand to work the other brand’s TV tapings. It is possible that Rhodes will be heading to Milwaukee tomorrow to work a dark match for the blue brand. In Monday’s post-RAW main event, Kevin Owens was defeated by Rhodes.
