Cody Rhodes Teases Massive Change If He Wins WWE Title

In a recent interview, Cody Rhodes has hinted at bringing back the iconic winged eagle belt if he were to win the WWE Championship in the future.

The WWE Superstar recently posted a photo on Instagram Stories of his old title belt with wings. He says this is one of his all-time favorites from the world of professional wrestling.

Rhodes seems primed to capture his first world championship in WWE. On the RAW after his comeback at WrestleMania 38, Rhodes delivered an impassioned promo in which he emphasized that his focus was to win the WWE Championship for his father, the late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes.

A new NBC ad featuring WWE’s two flagship shows finds Stone Cold Steve Austin as the face of RAW.

The Count Out win gave Rhodes two live wins over Kevin Owens this past week, at RAW and the live event in Erie, Pennsylvania.

At the next major live event on Sunday, May 8, Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins in a WrestleMania 38 rematch. Cody lost to the champion at last month’s Super Show-Down pay-per-view.
