Edge was moved to the “babyface” side of the “Raw” roster on Monday night’s edition of Raw. Edge had formerly been ousted from The Judgment Day during Monday night’s episode.
The recent injury suffered by Cody Rhodes at WWE Hell In A Cell had a direct impact on his alignment with The Bullet Club, who split from the group to align themselves with Kurt Angle. So, it’s possible that last night’s events were in response to the injury, which WWE announced on Monday.
A segment on last night’s Raw, The Judgement Day was made a member. Edge introduced Finn Balor to the group. During yesterday’s Hell in a Cell PPV, Balor beat AJ Styles and Liv Morgan.
Despite the intense fighting last night, Balor accepted the invitation to enter The Rogues group, but there was a surprising turn of events as he attacked Edge only seconds later. The Rogues then went on to attack Edge with a “Con-chair-to” and took him away to the backstage area on a stretcher.
In the main event, Bella had an “F4W” match against Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan, who’d won a King of the Ring Royal Rumble all to determine which woman she would face at the Money in The Bank PPV. Ripley’s win made her a title contender against the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair next week on July 2nd.
The Judgement Day formed after Edge was defeated by AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38. Theresa Ripley revealed herself as part of the group when she helped Edge score a win over Styles at WrestleMania Backlash.
