Violent By Design was launched in late 2020, when Eric Young and Joe Doering joined forces. Since then, the faction has dominated IMPACT Wrestling, working along with talents such as Rhino and Deaner.
Currently, Doering is undergoing treatment for cancer and so Young and Deaner are now the last two members of VBD. This has made it tougher for “The World Class Maniac” to make the depth of VBD once again.
There’s been some speculation about a potential change-of-events regarding IMPACT Wrestling. AEW‘s Angels are reportedly joining IMPACT during these tapings, possibly adding fuel to the fire as he hits not one but two of the most prominent members of VBD at the same time.
With Wrestling star Konnor, now the IMPACT Superstar Big Kon, working on a full-time basis for the wrestling show, information points to this news as accurate. However, he isn’t technically affiliated with the future stars of Violent By Design at the moment.
At this point, it’s unclear how BIG KON will be introduced to VBD. One possibility has been pointed out and the date is November 18 at IMPACT’s Over Drive event.
