Shawn Micheal proves that age is just a number. Shawn Michaels, Sr. VP of Talent Development and Creative for WWE is in charge of the development of the NXT Superstars. Michaels responded to his old tag team partner Marty Jannetty’s comments that he wants to coach WWE’s future stars in an exclusive interview.
Between the years 1985 and 1992, Jannetty and Michaels performed under the moniker The Rockers. In May, Jannetty shared his desire to work as a coach at WWE’s Performance Centre in Orlando, Florida, Michaels told how Matt Bloom finds both interim and permanent coaching staffs:
“On the coaching side, the Performance Center is one hundred percent head coach Matt Bloom. One of the things we do here in NXT, one of the things we say is, ‘We all stay in our lane.’ Obviously any former WWE Superstars or guys that have mentored guys in WWE, we always at least have an opportunity to bring them through, whether it be on a full-time basis or a part-time basis, just coming in to visit.”
Shawn Michaels addressed Kevin Nash’s recent criticism of SmackDown standout LA Knight in the video above.
