Ronda Rousey came back to WWE at the Royal Rumble in 2022, after being away for almost three years. Rousey has won the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice since she came back, but fans haven’t responded the way she wanted them to. Now, it looks like her time in WWE is over after SummerSlam.
During the last few seconds of the match at the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event, Shayna Baszler struck Ronda Rousey. This gave Raquel and Morgan the chance to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles back.
At the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event, they finally fought each other in an MMA Rules match. Baslzer would win the match after putting a sleeper hold on Ronda Rousey and getting her to tap out.
Dave Meltzer told in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update that…Ronda Rousey’s SummerSlam match “was her farewell at least for now”.

Rousey is not likely to return to WWE in the near future. We’ll have to wait and see when she comes back to WWE TV, because it could be a while before that can happen.
