A former WWE star is now working full-time as a director for the company AEW.
Chris Hero, who was known as Kassius Ohno when he was in the WWE, is the star in question. The Knockout Artist was mostly seen on the NXT brand, and his deal with WWE ended in April 2020. Since he got out of prison, the star hasn’t wrestled for any kind of show.
Back in June, there were rumors that AEW had hired Chris Hero to put on events for the company. This seems to be true, as The Knockout Artist is now said to be a full-time producer for AEW.
PWInsider says that Chris Hero has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling and will be working for Tony Khan’s business as a backstage producer.

“The coaching/producing aspect is something that I really enjoy. You coach different people different ways. Sometimes, you’re just a note-taker, like, okay, what are these guys doing? Boom, let’s try to make sure that the cameras get it all. Let’s make sure that production knows what’s going on, someone’s coming in through the crowd.”
Hero went on:
“Then sometimes, it’s a collaborative effort where you’re sitting there with people, and they’re stuck on something, and you’re like, ‘How about this? How about that? Whatever.’ Like I said, it’s a collaboration. I love all of that.”
