After being involved in an accident with a tractor, WWE legend Goldberg provokes concern with bleeding images.
On Tuesday, WWE legend Bill Goldberg shared multiple images on social media showing blood running down his face from a gash on the top of his head. These photos caused eyebrows to be raised.
On Instagram, he captioned the photographs with the phrase “#tpost 1, Goldberg 0.”
A representative for the professional wrestler Goldberg, who is 56 years old, informed TMZ Sports that the injury occurred while Goldberg was working on his farm in Texas and struck his head on his tractor by mistake. Goldberg stated that it was “just a flesh wound” and that he super glued it shut after it happened, according to the publication.
When he was at the pinnacle of his game in professional wrestling with World Championship Wrestling and then with WWE, the man who is now in the WWE Hall of Fame was busted open a number of times, so he is no stranger to blood.
Since the WWE Elimination Chamber event in February 2022, Goldberg has not participated in a single match. He was defeated by Roman Reigns in a match for the title. Before that, he had previously won a match against Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel in October 2021 using a no holds barred, falls count anywhere back format.
Back in March, he gave an interview to Sports Illustrated in which he stated that he was not ruling out a comeback to the boxing ring.
Goldberg stated that “you never say never, especially in wrestling,” and that the other wrestlers owed him one. “There is nothing else I can say. I made a pact with the devil, did my job, and now they owe me a retirement match since I fulfilled my end of the bargain.
“At the end of the day, when I was 56, it wasn’t something that required me to sit by the phone and wait for a call. I’ve given some thought to how I might accomplish it on my own, possibly in the country of Israel. So never say never.”
