A wrestling legend said that The Bloodline plot in WWE is the “greatest thing I’ve ever seen” in pro wrestling.
Kevin Sullivan knows a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to telling stories in professional wrestling. During his long career in professional wrestling, he was a very successful wrestler and booker. He spent a long time in World Championship Wrestling. He recently said a lot of good things about The Bloodline.
The Bloodline plot in WWE, which involves the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, his family, and Sami Zayn, began three years ago on August 30, 2020, when Reigns won the Universal Title to start his heel run.

Roman’s cousins Jimmy and Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, The Usos’ younger brother Solo Sikoa, who joined in September 2022, and the Wise Man, Special Counsel Paul Heyman, were also in the group at its peak.
Since then, Reigns has been WWE’s top title for more than 1,000 days, while The Usos held the Tag Team Title for 622 days, which was the longest time ever.
The Bloodline added Sami Zayn as an Honorary Uce to help the group for most of 2022. Most of the year, Zayn was faithful, but “Tribal Chief” Reigns had doubts about him. Zayn eventually responded to the Royal Rumble. In the main event of WrestleMania 39 on Saturday, Zayn and his best friend Kevin Owens beat The Usos for the Tag Team Titles.
The Usos have also broken up with The Bloodline in the last two months. The Usos beat Reigns and Sikoa in a Bloodline Civil War match at Money in the Bank this month. Jey pinned Reigns. This is important because it was the first time since December 2019 that Reigns had been pinned. All of this should lead to Reigns meeting Jey at SummerSlam on August 5.
Kevin Sullivan (aka The Taskmaster) of Inside The Ropes praised The Bloodline after Nick Hausman of Inside The Ropes asked him if he was ahead of the pro wrestling storyline curve.

“I don’t know if I really thought I was, but I thought that had to be the way to go. Look at how long I’ve been around. Right? The Bloodline is the best thing I’ve ever seen, in my opinion.”
Kevin Sullivan discussed Smackdown’s 40-minute segment with The Bloodline on July 7 at MSG, which consisted of advertising and a violent fight. Sullivan would then say that Roman Reigns was a good leader because he made everyone around him better.
“How many dropkicks did you see during that match? There was no match. 40 minutes of entertaining things. It was just talking. But they had built that story from day one, they didn’t rush it.

And here’s the thing. I was involved in the nWo. When we were doing it, we’re smashing the babyfaces and killing them to get the nWo over right, we made the nWo stronger than WCW.
Roman [Reigns] during this purge of terror that he’s been on, has made Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cody, you could go down the line — Jey and Jimmy. There’s a whole list that he’s made babyfaces while they’ve been the centre of attention. It’s pretty amazing to me.”
