HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS — A woman identified as Kali Nicole Hubbard was arrested by Harris County authorities after being found asleep behind the wheel of an illegally parked vehicle filled with stolen items and illegal substances.

The discovery was made during a routine patrol on Sunday by a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office, who spotted the suspicious vehicle on the 700 block of Beckets Crossing Lane.

Upon investigation, the deputy identified Hubbard as the driver and confirmed she was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants issued by the Pearland Police Department.

As the vehicle was inspected for towing, law enforcement uncovered a trove of illicit materials, including nearly 600 pieces of stolen mail, multiple stolen credit cards, and several fraudulent Texas Driver’s Licenses bearing Hubbard’s photograph. Additionally, officers seized 78.32 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine and 25 Alprazolam pills.

Constable Mark Herman’s Office reported that Hubbard was taken into custody and booked into Harris County Jail on the existing warrants. She now faces additional charges, including Tampering with Government Records, and is scheduled to appear in the 228th District Court. Her bond has yet to be determined, and with the investigation ongoing, authorities suggest that further charges may be added as the case develops.
