If you’re hoping Impact will have Johnny Gargano on the show this week, well there’s a chance that hope might be dashed.
This week during a taping of Impact Wrestling, independent wrestler Tully Blanchard made a surprise appearance. There has been some speculation about what his next step could be in the business and whether or not he will sign with Impact moving forward after his appearance was merely to ‘help’ a friend out.
He opted not to re-sign with WWE in 2021, and didn’t come back for a match since then. His most recent match is from the WarGames event that he joined Dunne, Knight, and Ciampa against four newcomers in “NXT 2.0.”
Gargano has been the subject of much speculation over the last week about his potential return to WWE, as Triple H takes charge of creative following Vince McMahon’s resignation amid a storm of allegations and controversy. While the rumors are just that, it should be noted that Gargano himself has never ruled out a return to WWE in the future, claiming earlier this month that a run with the Intercontinental Championship and a match at WrestleMania are “still on my bucket list.”
Fans might be able to know what is next for Gargano as he had a panel at Starrcast V on Sunday.
