Kip Sabian has been a mystery to wrestling fans over the course of this past year. Last Monday night on AEW‘s show, Fyter Fest, he took to social media and asked the fans their thoughts before tonight’s episode airs.
“Tonight AEW in Duluth, Gas South Arena.” Sabian asked who would be present to see the show live tonight. The opening paragraph also includes Sabian’s thoughts on what this new and improved AEW tour would mean for professional wrestling. He included a photo of himself with a box over his head saying “Under Rated, Over It.”
Sabian competed in AEW from the promotion’s beginnings as a babyface, but Sabian turned heel in July 2021 and teamed with Penelope Ford as a mid-card act. Sabian last competed during “Arcade Anarchy,” which took place on March 2021, when Miro defeated him in their match. Sabian has gone back to indie wrestling since then and can be found anywhere between the audience at British Wrestling Revolution shows. Sabian has been seen only briefly during AEW events or events where he is unmarked and unmentioned. During some of the recent AEW Grand Slam shows he was seen sitting outside of Arthur Ashe Stadium to sign 8x10s for fans who were attending his matches inside.
