The fans were shocked when Jey Uso announced on SmackDown last week that he was leaving WWE. After the news was made public, Jey was moved to the website’s graduates page. This made people wonder what would happen to the 37-year-old in the Stamford-based promotion.
After all, Jey’s message that he wanted to quit was too serious. Many supporters questioned whether the former tag team champion will make a comeback prior to Payback. Even though fans hope it happens, there’s a chance Jey Uso won’t make an appearance before Payback in the WWE Universe.
The Judgment Day story is getting a lot of attention in WWE right now. WWE might decide to postpone a prospective match between Jey and Jimmy Uso at Payback because there would be a lot to do in the vicinity of that. It would also give the company more time to build up the feud for a possible final match at WrestleMania 40.
If The Usos fight each other at WrestleMania 40 next year, it will be a dream come true for them, since they have said in the past that they want to do so.

It will be intriguing to see how WWE develops The Bloodline plot in the upcoming weeks, even though there is still plenty of time.
WWE legend asks RAW star to join forces with Jey Uso
After SummerSlam 2023, when Jimmy Uso struck Jey Uso and cost him the match against Roman Reigns, Jey was mostly left alone. Even worse, he didn’t feel better after SummerSlam because he struck Reigns and Sikoa on SmackDown and superkicked Jimmy.
With this change on the blue brand, Jimmy has a chance to team up with Roman Reigns again. If Jey does that, no one will help him. Eric Bischoff, a WWE legend, thinks that the company needs to add Sami Zayn to the plot to make up for this.
Bischoff said on his 83 Weeks show that Sami Zayn has been written out of the story and is no longer important. Says Bischoff:
”And let’s watch that story. And maybe that’s, maybe that’s Sami. ’Cause he’s gone out of the storyline now, he’s kind of forgotten about. Let Jey bring him back in and be a part of it. That would be my go-to if I was sitting in a meeting right now at Stamford and going, ‘Okay, now what do we do to try to bring this thing back to life , or bring more life into it?’ I’d like to have a conversation about bringing Sami into it.”

Sami Zayn was one of the first people to tell Jey Uso to leave The Bloodline, so adding him to the story would make sense. The Canadian champion and Reigns go back a long way, so he can add a lot to the story.
