The current top flyweight in our rankings history, who has been 10 straight times the number one ranked fighter in the division, is back on top of the division.
Demetrious Johnson, long-time UFC champion, fell out of the top spot in 2018. He moved to ONE Championship and it took him some time to make a comeback.
“Mighty Mouse” became the champion for the third time after his knee knockout of Moraes at ONE last month. He has also surpassed the UFC champion, Figueiredo and Moreno from our flyweight rankings.
John Johnson’s victory means that he jumps in the pound-for-pound ranking above Christian Lee and now can enter our rankings again.
Get caught up on all the moves from the ONE eventful night, and check out the divisions for this week’s UFC debut in Paris, UFC Fight Night 209.
