King of The Table 3
King Of The Table 3, the third installment of the top drawer arm wrestling tournament. It was held at the Strong Gym HQ in Dubai on 2nd April this year. After being postponed from its original date of March 26th.
Main event: Dave Chaffee defeats Alex Kurdecha
King of The Table 3 is a top arm wrestling event series that has been highly anticipated, claimed a 5-1 dominating win over Alex Kurdecha with Dave Chaffee marking it by winning. Other competitors on the undercard won their matches during the streaming live event.
Opening match: Ermes Gasparini defeats Wagner Bortolato
In their opening match at the tournament Khaled Jassil, an MMA sensation and rising arm wrestler, beat Larry Wheels, a bodybuilder-cum-arm wrestler. From the second round on, Khaled showed off his strength and won three rounds in quick successions to make it 3-1. Khaled secured the winning move in the fifth round with a brutal pull on Larry to win the match 4-1.
Gabi Vasconcelos defeats Sarah Backman
There was a battle between the two female arm wrestling icons in this match, which featured Gabi Vasconcelos, who made it to the finals eleven times in her career, and Sarah Backman. The pair started off with Sarah making two quick starts in a row but she lost her lead as the match progressed. That is how Gabi won by a 4-0 score and took home the 2018 World Champion title.
The Backman vs Vasconcelos match and the left-hand heavyweight arm wrestling match with Wagner Bortolato vs The Gladiator.
In the exciting main event, a year before he won the Polish weightlifting title, Alex made quick work of Dave Chaffee to make his way into the World Heavyweight Arm wrestling Championship. In the first round, Alex threw two back-to-back fouls and caught a late elbow. Unfortunately for him, Dave won 5 rounds in a row to win with ease. Dave went on to make five of six straight wins with another decisive blow in the sixth round.
