In this week’s episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Angle discussed WrestleMania 38 and Pat McAfee’s performance on the show.
Pat McAfee shined on Night Two of WrestleMania 38 with dazzling athleticism and charisma, as he showed off against Vince McMahon and Austin Theory.
It’s also being reported that this match maybe Vince McMahon’s final WWE match ever, with many within the company believing that his match with Austin was a bad idea leading into the event.
McAfee recently revealed on his YouTube channel some highlights of the best day of his life, in professional wrestling. The 13-minute video starts with McAfee recalling how he always enjoyed wrestling growing up and ends with him meeting Stone Cold Steve Austin that night, getting home to San Jose safe in the morning.
The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that he was very surprised by his wrestling ability and praised several moves McAfee did during the match.
Angle said:
Pat McAfee was the surprise performance at WrestleMania. I would’ve never expected him to do what he did, that was pretty amazing, especially for a non-wrestler.
That jump to the top rope was impressive, and then the Superplex? Wow! He has some good leaps, he’s a great athlete.
