Forbidden Door on Sunday set the stage for the next number of shows in Korakuen Hall, with a triple header on July 3rd.
KUSHIDA will be wrestling in his first match for NJPW after leaving 3 years ago on July 3rd. He will wrestle alongside long-time friend Hiroshi Tanahashi on this high-profile card. The event also holds the potential to see Alex Zayne, who KUSHIDA battled while in WWE.
On the one side, a strong BULLET CLUB, led by KENTA who is returning from his vicious fight against Tanahashi in Tokyo Dome, comes back. KENTA, Gedo and Taiji Ishimori are all tagging alongside each other to seek revenge and they want to see what Kushida has done before they decide whether he deserves a shot at gold. Will it start on July 3?
The New Japan Combinations:
Hiroshi Tanahashi will be wrestling three straight nights at Korakuen Hall on July 3rd, with a match on each night.
KUSHIDA will team with Hiroshi Tanahashi and Alex Zayne against Taiji Ishimori, KENTA, and Gedo in their first match of the last year for New Japan. It also marks the return of KENTA, who has been inactive due to injury since January.
On July 4th, Kushida teams with Tanahashi against Ishimori and KENTA. On July 5th, Kushida teams with Tanahashi and Jado vs. Ishimori, KENTA, and Gedo.
Yoshitatsu had his contract expire earlier this year, and he is expected to return to New Japan as soon as possible.
