Lacey Evans was awkwardly not present on WWE Monday Night Raw despite her return match being advertised for the show for the past week. No reason was given for why Lacey Evans was omitted from the event.
Evans appeared on the show shortly before the announcement, but not being informed of this decision is only a few weeks after WWE suspended Naomi and Sasha Banks for walking out of a match on “Raw”.
So, why was Sassy Belle nowhere to be seen on Raw last night? The “former Slammy Award winner” explained on Twitter that she didn’t appear because the decision was hers.

It should be noted that Evans spent the previous day serving as the Grand Marshall for NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Last night’s Raw took place in Des Moine, Iowa, meaning Evans would’ve had plenty of time to make the show, but it’s possible something happened at the race that compromised her physically. Yesterday, Evans tweeted out some photos from the race, including one that showed her with ice packs on her arms, and jokingly suggested that “GRAND MARSHAL [sic] duties got me all laid up.”
She was moved to the Raw brand, where her alignment remains unclear. Evans initially faced off as a fan favorite with Tuesday’s match.
