In his interview, Thomas described the time he was shot in 2013 along with the sentence “some bad company.”
He said that “They didn’t really see that I was a good person” and the injuries he suffered were a result of “bad timing” and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
When Thomas entered the boxing gym in West Hempstead, New York, he seemed drunk. Michael Corleone thought he seemed drunk when he first walked into the gym and had moved to object.
“When he first came in the door, he comes in with a walker, struggling,” Corleone said.
“The amount of effort that he gave me that day was really unbelievable, I was speechless.”
