The ratings and viewership numbers are in for this week’s show of WWE NXT, which aired on August 15.
Wrestlenomics says that 680,000 people watched last night’s show and that it got a 0.19 rating among 18-49 year olds.
Both are big drops from last week’s numbers, which were the best in two years. The overall audience is down 12% and the demo group is down 17%. But last week’s show was pushed because Rey Mysterio was going to be there to watch his son defend the North American title. Last night, neither Mysterio nor Dominik’s partner for Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley, were promoted, and Dom and his Mami only showed up in a backstage scene.
But that scene did set up a mixed tag for the NXT North American and WWE Women’s World champions on next week’s Heatwave special. On that show, there will also be a fight for the NXT title, so this could be a setback for a week.
