Death Before Dishonor 2023 Will See The ROH Women’s Title On The Line
Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor 2023 just a few days away, and the show’s card is just now beginning to take shape after ROH announced that the ROH Women’s World Championship will be on the line-up.
Athena will defend the championship against Willow Nightingale, who became the top contender for the title after defeating the “Fallen Goddess” on July 14 in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semifinal, according to ROH President Tony Khan.
In a previous statement, Athena said that if Nightingale defeated Owen in their semi-final match, she might get a chance at the gold.

Nightingale is now on a roll in AEW and ROH, although Athena has already defeated the “Babe With the Power” to successfully defend the championship in a ROH TV episode from February. The two have now each won one singles match in their respective careers after Nightingale’s triumph on Rampage.
