If you’ve had any run-ins with your co-workers in the lobby of a Houston Texas hotel, then MVP has. The WWE star Jericho ran into AEW Star Chris Moretti after their Dynamite show back in Houston and that comes as no surprise to Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that broke this story this morning.
The incident actually took place, says the company that owns Foodora in a tweet this morning. It also dropped a hint about more information to come.
“Even when they get the story right, they get the details wrong,” MVP tweeted. “Gotta love the dirt sheets.”

MVP said that a blogger in the midst of Meltzer’s list “did not elaborate on what part of the report he felt left out details.” According to this list, Jericho was in a Houston hotel with Matt Hardy around 1 a.m. when MVP showed up. While the situation never escalated into violence, it was said to have gotten very tense until Jericho departed in an elevator, but not before referring to MVP as a jobber.
Another report suggests that the tension between MVP and Jericho began in November of 2020 when Jericho tweeted about the 2020 United States Presidential Election. During a conversation with Lance Storm on Twitter months later, MVP revealed that he had been blocked by Jericho on Twitter, and confirmed to a fan that it was over their November exchange.
Delete this. 🙄
