Bodybuilder and IFBB Pro Judge Jerry Ward, who was known for his muscular physique and entertaining personality, has passed away at the age of 46. Ward competed in bodybuilding competitions all over the world, including the Mr. Olympia contest five times. He also served as a judge for many major bodybuilding contests before retiring from judging in 2016.Ward’s death is shocking not only to the bodybuilding community but to everyone who knew him. Jerry Ward, bodybuilder, coach and IFBB Pro Judge, has passed away at 47 years old. News of his passing was announced by bodybuilding promoter Gary Udit on Instagram. Ward was commentating on a live stream for Udit’s 2022 NPC Teen, Collegiate and Masters Nationals in Pittsburgh, PA. At the time of this writing, no cause of death has been revealed.Ward had a long and successful career as a bodybuilder that started in the 1990s. He won multiple championships throughout his career and served as an IFBB judge from 2006-2017. His legacy will be remembered not just for his accomplishments as a bodybuilder but also for his coaching skills, which he used to help numerous athletes reach their goals.
