Nikkita Lyons Bio
Faith Jefferies is an American professional wrestler, Taekwondo practitioner, and musician. She joins WWE and performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Nikkita Lyons. Previously, she wrestled under the name Faith the Lioness for Women of Wrestling.
Early life
Jefferies is from Las Vegas and raised in Hollywood. She has been practicing Taekwondo since she was 4 and earned her black belt by the time she was 8.
Professional wrestling career
Women of Wrestling (2019–2021)
She first learned to wrestle in 2018 while attending high school.Shortly after graduation, Celina Majors became her coach and helped her debut in Women of Wrestling under the stage name “Faith Lioness” until 2022.
WWE
NXT (2021–present)
Her first professional match took place on December 31, 2021 in an episode of 205 Live, where she lost to Amari Miller. She made her NXT debut on the February 22, 2022 episode, defeating Kayla Inlay. By April, Nikkita Lyons and Lash Legends had beaten each other and eliminated each other in a singles match. Lyons coming out on top at Spring Breakin’. On the May 10 NXT episode, she participated in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament with a first round victory over Arianna Grace.However, an injury caused Nikkita Lyons to lose their next match and advance to the quarterfinals.
Lyons, the masked female competitor, won a number one contender match for the NXT Women’s Championship by eliminating her opponents quickly.
On the August 8th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, it was announced that John Lyons teaming up with Zoey Stark in a tournament to determine who would be the next WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion which had been vacant since May.
On SmackDown Live on August 19th, Starks injury was cited as the reason why Lyons and her partner was remove from the tag team tournament. However, Lyons had to withdraw from the tournament when it was learned that she could not enter Canada due to her vaccine history.
