NJPW’s annual tournament, Best of the Super Juniors 29 (NJPW BOTSJ 29) took place at the Toyama Techno Hall West on a night in Japan.
Taiji Ishimori was initially at the top of A Block at night three on Sunday, with El Phantasmo trailing just behind him, leading into the final night of B Block.

The standings mean that Hiromu Takahashi and El Desperado advance to the finals because of their head-to-head victories in the closing round of Block matches. The match will be a repeat of 2020 Best of the Super Juniors final.
